As
an Outsourcing specialist I represent well established machine shops who
have earned exceptional reputations with their customers. Their machining
capabilities include CNC Swiss, CNC & cam Escomatic, Brown & Sharpe, Multi-Spindle,
cylindrical grinding, water jet, 2nd operation and finishing equipment.
We can work with almost any material; ferrous & non-ferrous. Part
configurations can be from simple to complex. Low to high volume quantities.
We can bar feed up to 2.625 " diameters.
Depending
on the part configuration, your RFQ may go to multiple companies for review.
The purpose is to find the best price, delivery and the one machine shop
whose expertise best fits your part's manufacturing requirements.
My
decision to represent the shops I do was influenced by years of interaction
with them throughout my sales career. I have come to know them personally,
their machining capabilities, their equipment and the ethical standards
they abide by.
My
career in manufacturing began in 1972 with acceptance to the General Electric
Apprentice Training Program, Lynn, MA. After graduation in 1976 as an All-Around
Machinist, I worked in various manufacturing positions at GE until 1986.
Since leaving GE and until 2002, I was involved in machine tool related
sales, most notably working for Hardinge Brothers, Inc., Elmira, NY and
Rudel Machine Tool, Hopkinton, MA.
Since January of
2002, I have been operating as a self employed, independent representative
for a variety of local machine shops throughout New England. In 2004, I
began working with AOA Machinery Company, Inc. (Coventry, RI) selling
Chiron vertical
machining centers and Schutte
CNC tool & cutter grinders. I also work with International Screw Machine
Services (Waterbury, CT) selling the Tornos Deco line of Swiss turning and
multi-spindle machine tools and Ganesh CNC lathes.
9/07 Update: I am no longer involved with Tornos or Ganesh and now
sell Maier
Swiss turning machines along with Chiron and Schutte.
